Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Diagnostic cardiac cath lab and interventional cardiac cath lab experience required. Procedure skills required: cardiac implant closure device, cardiac stent placement, adult diagnostic catheterizations, IABP placement/removal, interpretation of dysrhythmias, left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), right heart catheterization, Rotablator atherectomy, and scrub procedures. Procedural responsibility skills required: equipment setup and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias. Infection control skills required: isolation precautions and sterile technique. Middle and older adult competencies required.
Unit Details: No IR. Adult and geriatric patient population.
Shift & Scheduling:
4x12s or 3x12 days.
Will work 2-3 weekends per contract.
Call required as needed, rotating with staff and agency. Call frequency details to be discussed with manager, flexible per census. Dedicated call team.
Special Requests: RTO: Ideally no more than 5 days. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Allied clinicians that do not require a state license in hand must arrive 3 days prior to start for fingerprints. Job Duration: 13 - 26 weeks.
