Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience: 2 years previous CVT experience or at least one year uninterrupted full time CVT experience required.
Preferred Credentials: Associate degree in Surgical Technology preferred.
Unit Details: Functions as the scrub person for operative and other invasive procedures, maintaining the sterile field, performing surgical counts with the circulating RN, handling specimens, and assisting with skin prep, clipping, and urinary catheter insertion. Cares for patients across the lifespan, from neonates through geriatrics.
Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri. Call one week at a time, alternating one week on and two weeks off; infrequent emergency call backs. Holiday on-call coverage only; dates negotiable.
