Required Skills/Experience:
- Must have current cath lab experience.
- Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips (such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors), as well as balloon pumps.
Required Credentials:
- Fluoroscopy required.
- RCIS and CCT are not accepted.
Special Requests:
- Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
- Travel pairs are not accepted.
- Open to block scheduling on Friday-Sunday.
Unit Details:
- Cases are done with 2 techs; 1 scrubs and 1 monitors hemodynamics.
- RN does conscious sedation.
- Sometimes there will be a 4th person, which could be an RN or a tech, depending on the case.
- A lead tech is responsible for room assignments.
- STEMI receiving facility.
- Cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention cases.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
- Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases 1x/week.
- 1 weekend/month; weekend call runs from Fri evening through Mon AM and is subject to change depending on unit needs.
Floating Requirements:
- First to float.
