Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have current cath lab experience.
• Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips (such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors), as well as balloon pumps.

Required Credentials:

• Fluoroscopy required.
• RCIS and CCT are not accepted.

Special Requests:

• Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
• Travel pairs are not accepted.
• Open to block scheduling on Friday-Sunday.

Unit Details:

• Cases are done with 2 techs; 1 scrubs and 1 monitors hemodynamics.
• RN does conscious sedation.
• Sometimes there will be a 4th person, which could be an RN or a tech, depending on the case.
• A lead tech is responsible for room assignments.
• STEMI receiving facility.
• Cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention cases.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend.
• Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases 1x/week.
• 1 weekend/month; weekend call runs from Fri evening through Mon AM and is subject to change depending on unit needs.

Floating Requirements:

• First to float.
