Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, scrub, right and left heart catheterization, Rotablader, thrombectomy, stents, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty. Cardiac Cath Lab cases include right and left heart caths, stents, angioplasty, FFR, Rotablator/Rotablader, PFO closures, TAVR, and structural heart.
Preferred Skills/Experience: acute monitoring, room circulator, ACIST, Watchman procedures, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR. Use of ACIST device preferred. Unit uses Philips and Mac Lab.
Shift & Scheduling: Call required: 1 to 2 call shifts during the weeknight, Monday-Friday, and 3 24-hour weekend call shifts per month. -Start Date: MAY START - any Monday
Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
For DC locations – You must have DC license in hand, but certain units accept pending (See JD). MedStar will usually accept a later booking date if you have applied for DC licensure.
For MD Locations – You must have compact license or MD license.
