Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- At least 1 year of Cath Lab experience.
- Peripheral angiogram/run-off experience required.
- Experience with endografts, EVARs, and TEVARs preferred; if no experience with those, must be willing to be taught on unit.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- IR experience or experience in a lab working with vascular surgeons highly preferred.
Special Requests:
- RTO requires manager approval.
- Travelers will do at least one holiday in a contract if applicable.
Unit Details:
- Cardiac cases include NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, and Mitral Clip.
- Vascular cases are mostly lower extremity angiograms plus EVAR and TEVAR cases.
- Uses Merge Hemo, Alaris pumps, Omnicell, Philips monitors, Philips/GE/Siemens X-ray equipment, ISCV PACS, and manifold setup.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekend rotation every 4-5 weeks.
- On-call varies by service: vascular requires two weekends per month and two weekdays of call with a 1-hour response time; cardiac requires one call night every week and every 5th weekend with a 30-minute response time.
- Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks.
- Travelers cover each other's RTO, so extra call may be required during RTO periods.
