Shift & schedule requirements: With on-call assignment. Call Requirements: 1-2 nights per week and every 4-5 weekend dependent on staffing and the needs of the department. Weekend Requirements: On-call. Holiday Requirements: On-call.
Floating requirements: The traveler may be required to float between affiliated campuses or locations within the health system based on operational needs. While floating is not guaranteed and may not occur, the traveler must be willing and able to report to an alternate campus if organizational needs change. Such changes may occur with limited notice, including same day adjustments. If the traveler is instructed to report to an alternate campus after arriving at the originally scheduled location, mileage between campuses will be billable.
Unit and facility details: The Temple University Hospital Cardiac Cath/EP Lab is a 6-room unit with 9 holding bays. TUH is a level-1 Trauma Center in North Philadelphia, PA. Cases seen: 10-25 cases per day are seen on this unit. Cases range from diagnostic only to complicated PCI and Structural Heart.
