Additional Details:
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
Required Skills/Experience: EP experience required. Experience with Impella, IABP, INARI, electrophysiology, PVC, PT, cryo or transeptal ablations, laser lead extractions, device work, and EP recording systems.
Special Requests: Can only apply to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system. Previous permanent employees must have been away for 2 years. Previous travelers there for 1 full year must have been away for 2 years. Cumulative experience applies for previous travelers. Travel teams must be submitted together. If candidate worked at a permanent facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from that permanent facility. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Unit Details: EP-focused Cath Lab role for cardiology patients. Duties include scrubbing and documenting cases, stocking rooms, assisting physicians with EP procedures, and monitoring/circulating cases in EP. Uses Toshiba, Carto, and Abbott equipment.
Shift & Scheduling: Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call required. On-call hours are 430pm to 6am with a 30-minute response time.
Floating Requirements: Floating limited to Cath Lab and EP.
