Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to independently do vein harvesting; travelers must have vein harvesting experience.

Required Credentials: EVH certification through NSAA or ABSA required. CFSA through CAAHEP or CST through ABHES required; NBSTSA accepted as well.

Unit Details: First assists will be expected to cover the surgical tech role as needed throughout the week. Provides direct support to surgeons during surgical procedures, including positioning and prepping patients, maintaining clear visibility with retractors and sponges, controlling bleeding, closing surgery sites using sutures or staples, dressing wounds, and collaborating with the surgical team on post-operative care.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekday call coverage runs from the end of the scheduled shift through 07:00 AM the following morning. Weekend and holiday call coverage runs from 07:00 AM to 07:00 AM the following day.
