Experience with CT Siemens Force scanners.
Tech will primarily be alone on Sunday.

Shift & Scheduling:
Day/evening schedule: Sun 7a-11p; M, T, W 2p-10:30.

CT Technologist

Required Credentials:
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Accreditation.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Community hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details:
The unit serves neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Support services include IV teams, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and transportation.

Shift & Scheduling:
No call.
Weekend requirement: yes.

Special Requests:
4 hrs of computer modules are required by 7 am the Friday prior to start.

Shift & Scheduling:
Tuesday-Friday.
Travelers will have set hours.
Holiday requirements vary by contract; work is expected if needed.
On-call as needed.
Orientation for the first shift occurs during weekday hours.

Unit Details:
Performs all CT exams except cardiac or perfusion studies, including inpatient, outpatient, and ED exams.
Average volume is 60-100 pts/day.
Uses GE CT scanners, including a Revolution EVO APEX in the ED and a Revolution EVO in the department.
Uses BAR and Scimage PICOM (PACS).
Radiology coverage includes an in-house radiologist 8-430p M-F; no radiologist is in-house overnight.
Technologists start IVs.
No registered radiology assistants are used.
