Required Credentials:
HS diploma/GED.
Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College based Radiography program.

Unit Details:
Contrast work includes assessing patient tolerance and screening for allergies or medication incompatibilities.
Venipuncture and power injector protocols are included.
The technologist observes patients before and after contrast injections and reports sudden changes to nursing staff and the radiologist.
Code Grey, trauma, and partial trauma cases require immediate image acquisition, processing, transmission, and verification/completion in PACS/RIS; Code Grey images are handled immediately after acquisition.
Daily and monthly QA/QC requirements include ACR specifications.
When assigned as Point, the technologist triages procedures, coordinates emergency and unscheduled requests, assigns staff to maintain workflow, and communicates with departments and floors about patient status.

Shift & Scheduling:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
On-call is required.

Floating Requirements:
Floats to other Morristown locations.
