Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Advanced case endoscopy experience required; must be able to assist the provider with high-level, complex cases.
Required Credentials: Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Credentials: Both or Either: Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Associates Program and/or Advanced Associates Program preferred, or Current IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification
Special Requests: Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility.
Unit Details: Assists nursing staff and physician during procedures including polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, and dilations; disinfects and processes endoscopic equipment; assists with troubleshooting equipment; sets up rooms for procedures; transports patients as needed; stocks rooms with supplies and equipment; assists patients with dressing and ambulation as directed by nursing staff; assists with applying EKG monitors, BP cuff, and pulse oximetry prior to the start of the case.
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating call. Holiday coverage required. Flexible contract hours: 40 per week.
