    Additional Information

    Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers considered with the right experience. Experience with adults and occasional school-aged children, including post-ortho/post-surgical patients, fall risks, deconditioning, and mobility issues, is required.

    Preferred Skills/Experience: Home Health experience preferred; willing to consider other Physical Therapist experience.

    Required Credentials: For roles requiring state licensure: license should not expire within 45 days following start date.

    Special Requests: Housing in Maine becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying. You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit and shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit and facility. Must have a car and auto insurance. RTO requests go through the manager.

    Unit Details: Mostly adult patients; rare school-aged children. Common cases include post-ortho and post-surgical patients, fall risks, deconditioning, and mobility issues.

    Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday. 4 10-hour shifts may be considered. Weekend rotation: 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, Saturday and Sunday. No call. Open for all holidays, including 6 major and minor holidays; 50% of holidays during the contract.

    Floating Requirements: Will cover Aroostook County; Presque Isle is the main town in the county. Could travel between 50-100 miles per day.
