Required Skills/Experience:
- IR experience required.
- Experience with Impella, balloon pump, PCI, stents, pacemaker, catheterization, rotablader, 12-lead EKG, and rhythm interpretation required. -Required Skills: Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures, Cardiac Stent Placement, Impella insertion, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, Temporary Pacemaker, Electrophysiology Studies, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Pacemaker Insertion, Procedural Responsibilities, Perform EKG lead placement, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Additional Skills, Rotablader, Rhythm Interpretation
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Coronary experience preferred. -Preferred Skills: Abdominal and Pelvic, Angioplasty, Chest Tube Placement, Embolization, ERCP, Gastrostomy Tube Placement, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement, Liver Biopsy, Paracentesis, Radio embolization, Stent placement, Thoracentesis, Neurological Studies/Procedures, Carotid Angiography, Discogram, Embolization, Stent placement, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Vertebroplasty, Vascular Studies/Procedures, Carotid Stenting, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Genitourinary Studies/Procedures, Catheter/drain exchange, Cystoscopy, Embolization, Gastrostomy, Nephrostomy, Percutaneous Stone Extraction, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Ureteral Stent Placement
Unit/Facility Details: We prefer a Cath Lab tech with coronary and IR experience if possible.
Special Requests:
- Travel pairs or trios cannot be accommodated.
- Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing.
- No first-time travelers unless they have extensive background and significant cath lab experience.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekend coverage every 5-6 weeks.
- 5-6 weekend shifts per contract.
- Weeknight call coverage 1 day per week, 5:30 PM-7:00 AM.
- Call covers Stroke and STEMI (CCL and IR).
- Self scheduling.
- 7:00 AM-5:30 PM; will consider 3x12s.
