Additional Details:
Required Credentials:
- Associate's Degree in Related Field OR Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
- Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Previous Radiologic Technology experience in a procedural setting.
- Experience with Interventional Neurology is preferred.
Unit Details:
- Heart & Vascular Institute role assisting physicians with invasive cardiology and invasive radiology procedures.
- Patient population includes those requiring invasive cardiology or invasive radiology studies.
- Procedures include peripheral vascular work, venous central lines, tube changes, embolization work (venous and arterial), venous thrombectomy, dialysis work (AV fistulas, tunneled dialysis catheters, peritoneal dialysis catheters), tube access and changes (G-tube, chole, neph, biliary, abscess, SPC), and neuro procedures including cerebral arterial/venous cases and kyphoplasty.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Mon-Fri schedule.
- Weekend and holiday shifts are call-only rotation.
- Performs on-call duties and may work variable or late shifts as assigned to meet department needs.
Floating Requirements:
- Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
