• Experience with EBUS, EUS, and thyroid FNA procedures required.

Unit Details:

• Performs specialized technical tasks in processing and screening cytological specimens to detect cancer or other pathological conditions.
• Screens gynecologic and non-gynecologic clinical specimen slides, marks abnormalities, renders diagnoses, and determines cases for quality control or pathologist review.
• Performs quality control and quality assurance procedures to maintain compliance with internal and external regulations and protocols.
• Performs rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) using a tele-pathology system for collection, processing, and immediate evaluation of fine needle aspirations.
