Preferred Skills / Experience: Previous Managerial Experience
Required Credentials: Clinicians who have completed Alaska's License By Endorsement process and obtained temporary permit may be submitted.
Minimum Education: Must have Bachelor's Degree or higher from an Accredited program in Physical Therapy
Unit Details: Housing Provided Placement will be at a regional clinic. Manages a hospital-based inpatient and outpatient physical therapy clinic. Provides patient care as needed, including skilled physical therapy evaluations and establishment of treatment plans. Coordinates an orthopedic specialty field clinic, including screening and prioritizing referrals. Balances reports, audits, and tracking measures with clinic demands and collaborates with corporate teams to build administrative processes. Uses therapeutic exercise equipment, ultrasound, and electric stimulation modalities in a standard physical therapy department environment. Village-based visits may involve a treatment table only; the therapist brings needed patient care items such as theraband and ultrasound equipment. Travel may be on small, non-pressurized planes. Uses Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for administrative work.
