Hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are 9:45 AM - 6:15 PM.

- 30% Spanish population in the area.

Shift & Scheduling:
- Mon-Fri 8-hour shifts with staggered start times between 7:30 and 9 AM.
- No weekend requirements.
- No holiday requirements.

Floating Requirements:
- Covers inpatient, outpatient, and LTC; typically assigned to a specific area with the potential to float to help cover another area.
- May be asked to cover a contracted facility approximately 1 hour away and an outpatient clinic approximately 20 minutes away; this is rare.

- Mentorship available from a provider with over 25 years of experience developing hand therapy programs.
- Provides individualized care for patients with physical disabilities related to injury, disease, or surgery, using assistive devices and modalities such as heat, electricity, water, massage, and exercise.
- Treats school-age, young adult, middle-aged adult, and geriatric patients.
- Uses the electronic medical record and completes daily billing.

Flexible shift start times ranging from 0730-0830.

Unit Details:
School-based, outpatient, and inpatient rehabilitation setting.
School-based occupational therapy includes evaluations, treatment, reassessments, individualized treatment plans, IEP meetings, and addressing functional skills, participation, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care.
May also provide outpatient occupational therapy for orthopedic, neurological, and other diagnoses, and inpatient occupational therapy including evaluation, treatment, ADL training, discharge planning, and functional mobility.
Collaborates with teachers, parents, school staff, school-based and medical providers, and interdisciplinary team members including PT, SLP, nursing, physicians, and case management.
Supports pediatric and adult populations.

Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible schedule; primary need is approximately 2 days per week of school-based services, with additional hours available in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
Assignment may be structured as a school-based focus, outpatient coverage while the existing OT provides school-based services, or a mixed-setting role based on departmental needs, therapist experience, and availability.
