    Additional Information

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • 2-3 years of experience required.
    • First-time travelers accepted with at least 2-3 years of experience.
    • CVOR experience and experience with open heart, CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR, sternotomy, thoracotomy/thoracoscopy, VATS, and ECMO required.

    Unit Details:

    • Cases include open heart, CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR, sternotomy, thoracotomy/thoracoscopy, VATS, and ECMO.
    • Uses Plum 360 IV pumps, Omnicell, and Spacelabs monitors.

    Shift & Scheduling:

    • Tues-Fri plus call.
    • 2 weeks on day shift orientation; expected to take buddy call while on orientation.
    • Weekend rotation: on-call.
    • On-call 10-12 days a month.
    • Expected to work a holiday per contract.
    • Schedule cycle is determined by department needs.

    Special Requests:

    • You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit and shift at the same facility). If you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift at the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day-shift position on the same unit and facility.
    • You must include a proof of address document to apply. The document must be in your name and match the address on your profile. Accepted documents: lease or mortgage agreement, utility bill, vehicle registration, or property tax forms.
    • Time-off requests must be approved by the manager.
