Additional Information
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Operating room experience and/or training course preferred.
- 2 years minimum of recent open heart experience.
Preferred Credentials:
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred.
- CNA certification preferred.
Unit Details:
- Assists with surgical cases in the operating room, including preparing cases, maintaining a sterile field, and retracting/passing instruments, supplies, and medications during procedures.
- Open heart, vascular, and thoracic procedures.
- Uses Pyxis.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Call required 50% of the time, with full weeks on call at a time.
- Weekend coverage is on-call.
Floating Requirements:
- You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.
- Float to main OR if there are no CVOR cases.
