Additional Details:
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Strong neuro experience, focusing on cranies and spine. Will need strong experience in ortho to allow for versatility when handling cases, and will need to be OK to work in general.
- Experience working in a facility with more than 15 OR suites.
- Experience with robotics.
- Experience in at least one of these systems is required: Zimmer, Depuy, Biomet, and Striker total replacements.
Special Requests:
- Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are not eligible; candidates living 60 to 80 miles from the facility are considered local.
- Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
- Previous Sanford Health employment must be disclosed, and the end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission.
Unit Details:
- Neuro is primary, but will also assist with orthopedics, ENT, plastics, general, and some trauma cases.
- Primary procedures include orthopedics, plastic surgery, and ENT for pediatric and adult patients.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 8 or 10 hour day shifts.
- Stay late as needed to assist with scheduled cases; this time is not considered call back and is an extension of the regular shift.
- On-call 1 to 2 shifts per week and every 3rd or 4th weekend.
