Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of CVOR experience with Level 1 or 2 trauma experience required. Experience with CABG, TAVR, valve replacements, robotic thoracic cases (lobectomy, hernia repair), generator exchanges, lead extractions, cardiac organ procurement/harvesting, and fem-pop bypass required.
Required Credentials: Graduation from an accredited school required. Associate degree in a healthcare-related field or CST certification.
Special Requests: You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit and shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit and facility. Requested time off will not be accepted between 8/5/26-8/20/26.
Unit Details: Performs cardio and thoracic surgeries including CABG, TAVR, valve replacements, thoracic cases (lobectomy, hernia repair), generator exchanges, lead extractions, fem-pop bypass, open vascular cases, AAA, carotids, and conversions. Uses a 2-tech model with 2 techs in every case; both scrubbed in, both set up and drape, with 1 primary tech and 1 support tech. Everyone rotates through these positions routinely. Uses Epic, Omnicell, and Alaris.
Shift & Scheduling: 8 or 10 hr. shifts - TBD during interview. Weekend rotation is on-call only. On-call: one overnight per week 7p-7a and every 3rd weekend; ideally 1-2 days/week (1500-0700) and 1 weekend every 3rd Fri 1500-0700 Monday). This is subject to change as needs of the department change. 15 min response time. Potential to work every holiday.
Floating Requirements: May float to Main OR.
