Required Skills/Experience Must be able to scrub all cardiac procedures. Cardiac experience is a hard-stop requirement and must be recent.
Preferred Skills/Experience Line insertions / circulate.
Required Credentials Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Preferred Credentials ASATT preferred.
Special Requests RTO must be listed at time of submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. Candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details Highly specialized cardiothoracic and vascular OR. Procedures include everything from basic CABG to robotic mitral valve repair. Also performs TAVRs and heart transplants. Adult and geriatric patient population; also cares for pediatric congenital heart patients, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents.
Shift & Scheduling Call required: Yes x1/wk x1 weekend/6wk schedule. Weekends required: Yes on call only.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
