Required Credentials:
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy

Unit Details:
The role provides physical therapy services for Hoopeston inpatient/swing-bed patients.
Evaluates patients' impairments related to orthopedic and neurologic conditions and establishes a plan of care based on functional deficits and patient goals.
Performs patient transfers with assistance as needed from bed, chair and floor, if applicable.
Completes objective testing for range of motion, strength, and performance of daily functional tasks.
Completes therapeutic modalities as appropriate, including ultrasound, interferential, and iontophoresis.
Applies tape for stabilization, facilitation, or inhibition of movement.

Shift & Scheduling:
Monday-Friday.
No weekend shifts.
No holiday shifts.

Floating Requirements:
Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
