Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric experience preferred; clinicians without pediatric experience will not be scheduled with pediatric patients if not comfortable.
Unit Details: Outpatient setting. This position delegates responsibility to the Physical Therapist Assistant and aides. Activities are patient focused and utilize assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in accordance with physical therapy standards, physician orders, and governing policies and procedures. Evaluates patient function using formal and informal testing to determine skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status. Develops, submits, and updates treatment plans, coordinates treatment schedules with patients, families, caregivers, and clinical support staff, and provides education regarding pathology or condition, prognosis, and treatment.
Shift & Scheduling: Shift times may vary any time between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM. One Sunday per month. No call.
