    Additional Details:

    References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

    Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years experience; technologist needs to be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases: stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephogram, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity, abd and pelvic, vascular studies, venous access, neurological studies. Contrast required. C-Arm required. Siemens single plane (Pheno and Zeego) and GE Elite portable C-arm required.

    Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred. IVUS, Penumbra, MedRad Power Injector, Shockwave, AngioJet, CSI Diamondback, Ultrasound, and Philips Laser preferred.

    Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

    Special Requests: Allied positions and IU Clinics accept local travelers. IN residents are considered local. IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include Periop/OR RNs, allied, and ambulatory RN travelers. Periop includes Endo, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS. If a traveler calls in for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. Or 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract. 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract.

    Unit Details: Adult patient population. Uses single-plane and biplane Siemens C-arms. Two IR techs are assigned to each room; one tech circulates and the other scrubs. Vascular interventional and neuro interventional cases include angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, and central line insertions. Includes hybrid OR cases and uses a portable GE Elite C-arm for non-hybrid ORs. Level 1 PE and Level 1 stroke; complex aortic cases.

    Shift & Scheduling: Call required: 1-2 weeknight & 1-2 weekend Fri-Mon shifts/month.
