Required Skills/Experience:
- One to three years clinical experience in all modalities as a radiation therapist, through an accredited radiation program.
Required Credentials:
- Graduate of an approved radiation therapy technology program.
Unit Details:
- Assists in localizing tumors, participates in treatment planning, and delivers high doses of ionizing radiation as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
- Serves as the primary liaison between patients and the radiation oncology team, with coordination involving other healthcare providers such as social workers and dieticians.
- Works with oncology patients for up to 80% of work time.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Mon-Fri.
