Required Skills/Experience:
- 3 years of recent TruBeam experience is required.
Unit Details:
- Administers prescribed therapeutic radiation treatments and performs localization procedures for adolescent, adult, and geriatric cancer patients.
- Responsibilities include basic dosimetry, custom block fabrication, charting, patient and family education, and assisting with onboarding new team members and student education.
- Includes nursing and secretarial support tasks.
- Uses linear accelerators, simulators, electronic health records, and department record-and-verify software.
Shift & Scheduling:
- If assigned warm-up duty, start time is 645am and the traveler may flex out 4 hours or work a full 40 hours based on unit needs.
- One additional shift is required during each schedule period.
- Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends and holidays.
- Call requirements to be discussed during interview.
Floating Requirements:
- May be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
