References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Seeking an experienced IR Tech to support Neuro IR and Hybrid OR procedures, including stroke interventions, carotid stenting, aneurysm repair, vascular procedures, ECMO, and TAVR cases.
Experience with fluoroscopy, C-arm, and hemodynamic monitoring. Peripheral and stroke experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Neuro IR and/or vascular experience preferred. Outpatient and OR experience; contrast experience preferred. Previous Charge Experience: Preferred. Teaching hospital experience preferred.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests: Cannot apply to any Ohio State University facilities if you have an active application to any of the James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities.
Unit Details: Supports Neuro IR and hybrid OR procedures, including stroke interventions, carotid stenting, aneurysm repair, vascular procedures, ECMO, and TAVR cases. The Ross OR has 2 hybrid OR suites utilized by vascular and cardiothoracic surgery. Cases include peripheral vascular, mesenteric, complex endovascular repairs of AAA, ECMO, and TAVRs. The Neuro IR has one hybrid OR suite utilized by neurosurgery. Cases include diagnostic cerebral angios, carotid stents, ruptured aneurysms, spinal angios, AVMs, neuro embolization, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty, and strokes. Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Teaching hospital environment.
-Parking Options for Travelers WMC Agency Permit – $215/month Guaranteed parking in an OSUWMC visitor garage. Best option for travelers who want the closest and most reliable parking. CXS Permit – $31.42/month Includes shuttle service every 15–30 minutes, but service is limited. The route has multiple stops and drops off about a street over from OSUWMC. Best suited for Jameson Crane Sports Medicine. Also includes access to 9th Ave Garages (East and West) on weekends and holidays. WB Permit – $15.67/month Most affordable option. Parking is in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, about 1.7 miles from OSUWMC. The Pink shuttle runs every 3–5 minutes during peak start/end times and goes directly to the medical center in about 8–9 minutes. Also includes access to 9th Ave Garages (East and West) on weekends and holidays. Weekend access is from Friday at 2 PM through Monday at 8 AM; outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply. Shift & Scheduling: Call required: one weekend every 13 weeks and one day per month. Every other weekend.
