    Required Skills/Experience: LTC or Rehab experience required.

    Unit Details: Long term care setting. Evaluates and treats patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders. Provides ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and supportive/assistive device training. Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers. May supervise occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students. Productivity expectation is 88-90% for evaluating therapists and 90-93% for assistants. Typical OT treatment times are ~1 hour for Medicare B and 30-35 min for Medicare A and managed care. Depending on case mix, therapists may have 7-12 patients scheduled per day, with fewer for evaluating therapists when evals are scheduled. Group therapy is allowed, and each therapist typically has a dedicated device for documentation.

    Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri. Start times are flexible as long as they are consistent and communicated with DOR; therapists are asked to start before 6AM and no later than 10AM. No weekends. No call.
