Additional Details:
Required Credentials:
- A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation required.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Two year allied health education program that is patient care related.
Preferred Credentials:
- Allied health occupations include but are not limited to: diagnostic medical sonographer, radiologic technologist, respiratory therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapist and/or registered nurse preferred.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Two years of actively doing echocardiograms preferred.
Special Requests:
- Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained.
Unit Details:
- Performs diagnostic echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients, including 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams. Assists with other cardiac procedures as needed.
Shift & Scheduling:
- On-call coverage for echo emergency exams done apart from regular working hours as established by department policy.
