Required Credentials:

• Certificate of Completion from Radiologic Technology Program.
• College Diploma in Related Field.
• Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.

Unit Details:

• Provides diagnostic CT services for inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department patients.
• Performs CT angiography, 3D, MIPS, VR, vessel analysis, MPRs, and post-processing for radiologist interpretation.
• Initiates IVs and administers contrast media for CT exams.
• Uses an independent workstation, pressure injector, and PACS.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Monday-Friday schedule.
• Weekend backup call rotation.
• Holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements:

• Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital.
• The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
