Required Credentials:

• BLS accepted from HSI.

Preferred Credentials:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Medicine preferred.

Unit Details:

• Orders, prepares, and administers radiopharmaceuticals.
• Operates gamma equipment and thyroid uptake/probe.
• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures including SPECT and SPECT/CT.
• Prepares image data for interpretation, including processing, formatting, calculations, and SPECT reconstruction.
• Starts IV catheter lines, injects radioisotopes, and removes IVs.
• Transfers and retrieves image data to PACS.
• Performs equipment quality control and radioactive waste collection/disposal.

• Mon-Fri.
