Required Skills/Experience:

• Pediatric and adult outpatient experience.
• Able to perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies for adults independently.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Unit Details:

• This position is primarily outpatient, with approximately 98% outpatient and 2% inpatient/acute care responsibilities.
• Outpatient caseload is approximately 60-70% pediatrics (all diagnoses and ages) and 30-40% adults, mostly post-stroke or other neuro diagnoses.
• Usually 1 outpatient MBSS per week.
• Inpatient patients are primarily adults with acute stroke or other neuro conditions; pediatric acute care SLP patients are rare to none.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Monday-Friday.
• One weekend per month on-call: 0700-0900 (approximately 2 hours/day for weekend).

Floating Requirements:

• Float to acute care as needed.
