You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Preferred Skills/Experience: 2+ years of experience preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in similar role within an active interventional cardiac cath Neuro IR, IR, or EP labs preferred.
Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences IEMA
Preferred Credentials: Bachelor of Science degree preferred. ABL preferred.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population with cardiac disease. Performs cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, EP studies, cardioversion, cardiac pacing device implants, LAAO/Watchman, TAVI/TCAR, left heart cath, right heart cath, IABP insertion/removal, ASD closure, percutaneous cardiac interventions, scrub procedures, and pacing. Additional procedures include biopsies, CVC, PICC, tunneled HD catheters, post placements, fistulograms, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, drain placements, ureteral stents, nephrostomy tubes, thrombectomies, thrombolysis, Y-90 treatments, and embolizations. Cath lab performs diagnostic and interventional cases, including IABP, IVUS, and IMPELLA. Uses Omnicell, Siemens C-Arm (single and bi-plane), and GE ultrasound.
Shift & Scheduling: Call required: Late stay only. Call time is 30 minutes. 13.5 hour weekday call; number varies based on staff availability. Able to pick weekday call days in rotation with other team members. Weekend requirement: yes.
