Required Skills/Experience: Experience with manifold system is required. Scrub assist and table-side experience required. Six (6)-12 months during CVT accredited program or two (2) years in another cardiac vascular laboratory. Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and sterile operative techniques required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 3 years preferred.

Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist program or radiologic technologist program or graduate of an applied science program.

Preferred Credentials: Associates or Bachelors Degree in health science field. Licensed special procedures Radiologic Technologist.

Special Requests: Failed fit tests due to facial hair and inability to shave automatically disqualify clinicians from proceeding.

Unit Details: Assists with invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including temporary and permanent pacemaker placement. Assists with circulatory support devices including IABP and Impella. Assists with vascular access, sheath removal, hemostatic closure devices, and radial access banding while maintaining hemostasis at the access site. Uses power injector, hemodynamic monitoring equipment, digital cine technologies, and Clinical Cardiovascular Information Systems (CVIS).

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required. On-call required.
