Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (peak: August–September). If unavailable for emergency response duties, please do not confirm new assignments or extensions during this period. If your start date is within 90 days, you must complete all labs within 72 hours of signing an offer with MUSC.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Community hospital experience is required.
• Proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor.
• Fuji Vidistar.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• MAC Lab.

Required Credentials:

• If you have RCIS, state license is not required.

Unit Details:

• Adult and geriatric patient population.
• Diagnostic and interventional coronary cath, diagnostic and interventional vascular, angioplasty, Shockwave, temp pacer, IABP, Impella, carotid angiogram, atherectomy, intravascular US (IVUS), FFR/IFR, pericardiocentesis, and cardiac biopsies.
• Daily caseload per tech: 4 to 5 labs per day with 2-3 CVT per lab; around 20-25 cases per day.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Shift end time may vary as staff stay until procedures are complete.
• Call required: 1 weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) per 7 weeks and 1 evening shift per week.
• Call requirements may change based on staffing needs.
• Holidays as needed.
• 1 weekend per month.

Special Requests:

• RTO is due at time of submission.
• All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs.
• Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holiday RTO will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
