Required Credentials:

• Associate's Degree in Ultrasound.
• Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.

Unit Details:

• To provide high quality ultrasound images of the heart and great vessels for adult patients, technical assistance with exercise and non-exercise stress testing, and to handle other duties as required or assigned.
• Prepares, instructs, assists the patients, and produces the images in a timely manner for dobutamine and exercise stress echocardiograms.
• Assists the cardiologist in performing transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).
• Assists in performing functional, pharmacological cardiolite, and echocardiography stress testing.
• Participates in mobile echo/vascular service regionally.
• Demonstrates proficiency in conducting pediatric echocardiograms, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Monday-Friday; 715am - 345pm.
• Start times: 645, 700, 715, 730.
• Weekend rotation.
• Holiday rotation.
• Rotating weekday call 4p-7a.

Floating Requirements:

• Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
