References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include: Periop/OR RNs, allied and ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.

Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers not accepted. Types of cases required: CV, heart/lung transplant. Does not need vascular but needs CV heart and lung. Core 5: must have 3/4 CV, heart and lung transplant.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Endovascular procedures a plus. Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: 1 full weekend within a 6 week call schedule. Call required: Approx 110. Must work 2/3 major holidays. Flexible contract hours: 40 hrs. in one workweek with 8 and 10 hr. shifts; 36 hrs. in one workweek with 3, 12 hr shifts; 48 hrs. in one workweek with 4, 12 hr. shifts.
