Required Skills/Experience: Float experience does not count toward the unit experience requirement. 3-5 years of experience required.
Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic or cardiovascular technology.
Unit Details: Precepts new staff and students. Assists with pulmonary thrombectomy, AAA, TEVAR, and FEVAR procedures; complex wire exchanges; long wires; and OTW balloons. Uses specialty devices including laser, Penumbra, Inari, and Shockwave. Circulates, monitors, and scrubs all interventional vascular procedures. Troubleshoots imaging equipment in collaboration with biomedical engineering. Participates in procedural charging and supply management. Works with x-ray systems, including panning table and recognizing different angles. Manages access sites, including sheath removal, hematoma assessment, and hematoma management. Cross-trains as needed to support departmental needs.
Shift & Scheduling: On-call required, including weekends and holidays.
