Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- Teaching facility experience required.
- CT/X-ray training required.
Special Requests:
- Any employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
Unit Details:
- Generally routine MRI exams in a community-based hospital.
- Procedures are scheduled every 45 minutes.
- Average 12-14 exams per day; MRI service hours 6am-10:30pm.
- Injections required.
- Uses a GE Optima 450w wide-bore MRI.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Monday to Sunday.
- Must be flexible with schedule.
- Mix of 8s and 10s, days and evenings, to meet operational needs.
- Call 1 night per week (10p-6a) and every 4th or 5th weekend.
- Weekend/holiday MRI call is usually 8a-12p Sat/Sun/holiday if needed.
- Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
Floating Requirements:
- Floats within radiology, including Fluoro, OR, and offsite locations.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
