Required Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.
Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
Unit Details: Evaluates and treats patients of all ages in an inpatient setting at a Level 1 trauma center. Patient population includes >50% neuro (CVA, TBI, nTBI, SCI), lower-extremity amputation, and multi-trauma. Provides supervision to COTA and rehabilitation technicians. Communicates activity/transfer recommendations, discharge disposition, and equipment needs with the medical team.
Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday schedule. 1 weekend shift per month. No holiday shifts.
