Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab is preferred.
Required Credentials:
- Fluoroscopy Operator Registration is required for RCIS and/or RCES.
Preferred Credentials:
- Associate’s degree preferred.
Unit Details:
- Provides technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures.
- Provides patient care under the supervision of the RN.
- Assists physicians in radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures and acts as a scrub assistant, maintaining sterile conditions during clinical procedures.
- Operates imaging equipment and works in the control room monitoring and documenting procedure images and events.
- Educates patients and families regarding the procedure and pre- and post-procedure expectations.
Shift & Scheduling:
- On-call weekdays and weekends.
