Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Usage of Impella and balloon pump required. Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and sterile operative techniques required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Permanent pacemaker placement experience preferred. Mac-Lab experience preferred.
Required Credentials: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Credentials: BS preferred.
Special Requests: Failed fit tests due to facial hair and the inability to shave automatically disqualifies clinician from proceeding.
Unit Details: Assists with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures including angioplasty, atherectomy, TEC, rotablator, valvuloplasty, intravascular ultrasound, pulmonary angiograms, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and coronary and biliary stents. Operates power injector and digital cine/hemodynamic imaging systems; assists with vascular closure devices and sheath removal.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required. Holiday requirement: 1 summer and 1 winter holiday. On-call is required, 7 shifts minimum, 10 max.
