Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must have electrophysiology (EP) experience.
Required Credentials:
- Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, an associate’s degree in a healthcare-related field, or an acceptable equivalent required.
Preferred Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Special Requests:
- Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained.
Unit Details:
- Supports cardiac catheterization procedures; performs fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition, documents hemodynamic measurements and ECG recognition, and serves as the radiation safety representative during X-ray use.
- Uses cath lab equipment including intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), intracardiac echo (ICE), contrast injector, hemodynamic system, intra-aortic balloon pump, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, and left ventricular assist device equipment.
- Scrubs procedures and maintains proficiency in access site management.
