Additional Details:
Required Skills / Experience: Cath Lab Tech with Invasive Cardio experience
Required Credentials: Must meet at least one of the following qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology
- Associate's degree or higher and a minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Cardiovascular Tech in a Cardiac Cath Lab
Intra-aortic Balloon Pump Course (IABP)
Unit / Facility Details: Proof of Identification: Driver's License or Passport
Special Requests: Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned a Basic Arrhythmia exam & a Pharmacology exam. If you fail the exams twice, this will result in an immediate cancellation by the facility.
Use of Lead apron required
Shift & Scheduling: Start times 07a-330p, 08a-430p and 09a-530p.
On call required in rotation, for nights, weekends and holidays.

Job responsibilities for Cath Lab Techs include preparing the patient and equipment for procedures and assisting during the procedure. Cath Lab Techs need to understand sterile techniques to protect patients from infection, and they may monitor the patient during the procedure to detect complications. The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists offers certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography.
