Required Skills/Experience:

• No first-time travelers.
• Extensive expertise and experience in the RN circulator role in the procedures listed below.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Scrub/first assist experience and proficiency is preferred but not required.

Unit Details:

• All cases require 1 scrub and 1 circulator. Pump cases also require a first assist/Heart Holder, which can be an RN or CST.
• Uses Stryker equipment.
• Procedures performed on unit include CABG, valve replacement, VAD insertions, TAVR, VATS, lobectomy, pacemaker/AICD insertions, septal myectomy, Ross procedure, EVH, IABP insertions, femoral cannulation, and circulatory arrest.

Shift & Scheduling:

• On-call shifts will be assigned and rotated among staff.

Floating Requirements:

• May float if needed; infrequent.
