Required Skills/Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience with previous chemotherapy administration.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Vascular access preferred.

Required Credentials:

• ONC certification required.
• ACLS is acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Monday-Friday schedule with 1 day off each week.

Unit Details:

• St. Vincent Cancer Center located at St. Anne Hospital.
• About 7-9 injections/infusions per day.
• Administers chemotherapy and other medications, starts IVs, places peripheral and central lines, transfuses blood and blood products, and performs therapeutic phlebotomies.
• Uses Omnicell, Alaris pumps, and Infusystem pumps.
• Patient population includes neonates through adolescents.
