Required Credentials Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests RTO must be listed at time of submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network. Must have left in good status if former employee.

Unit Details Adult patient population. Critical care interventions include continuous ECG and oxygen saturation monitoring, pulmonary artery pressure monitoring, cardiac output monitoring, ventricular assist devices (VAD), intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), cardiac pacemakers, care of unstable post-cath lab procedure patients, administration of vasoactive IV medications, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), therapeutic hypothermia, ventilator management, and ARDS with proning.

Shift & Scheduling No call. At least every other weekend. Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.

Floating Requirements May float to other units and Providence sister facilities to meet unit needs based on skill set, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent. If floating consecutive shifts to Seaside, a hotel will be offered. Facility will give as much notice as possible when floating to Seaside.
