Shift & Scheduling:
- 0800 start time, manager is open to 8s, 10s and 12s.
- On Call, Call Back Requirements: Call required: ▪ 3-4 Call days per month ▪ Weekend call-every 5th-6th weekend – hours will be from Fri approx. 1630 to Monday at 0800
- Weekend Rotation: Weekend Call
- Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
Travel Cath Lab/Interventional Tech Job Responsibilities & Salary
Job responsibilities for Cath Lab Techs include preparing the patient and equipment for procedures and assisting during the procedure. Cath Lab Techs need to understand sterile techniques to protect patients from infection, and they may monitor the patient during the procedure to detect complications. The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists offers certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography. The average annual salary for Cath Lab Techs in the United States is more than $60,000; the average annual salary for Cardiovascular Technologists (which can be another title for Cath Lab Tech) is more than $70,000.
