Additional Details:
Required Credentials:
- HS diploma/GED
- Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College based Radiography program.
Unit Details:
- Monitors patients before and after contrast injections and reports any sudden change to the nursing staff and Radiologist.
- Can begin emergency response in case of complication.
- When assigned as Point, triages procedures according to the daily schedule and ensures timely coordination of all emergency and unscheduled procedure requests.
- Maintains QA/QC requirements for daily, monthly & ACR specifications and adheres to venipuncture and power injector protocols.
- For Code Grey, Trauma and Partial Trauma cases, images are acquired, processed, sent and verified/completed in PACS / RIS system per established protocol; notifies the radiologist as Code Grey images are being sent and of any unusual findings.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Wed-Sat.
- No holidays.
- On-call required.
- No OT.
